History.

According to a legend an Abyssinian smelled a burning coffee plantation. He tried one of its seeds and he decided to prepare a drink with them.

Coffee is native from Ethiopia and form two centuries Yemen was the only coffee supplier. The Dutch introduced it in Europe and the English took it to America and it soon became popular in many countries.

The main coffee producers are Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, Brazil, Angola, Ivory Coast and Indonesia.

The coffee grain is bold red and it takes after a cherry. Coffee plantations only grow in tropical weather.

There are more than 20 varieties of coffee seeds but not every of them are useful to prepare an aromatic coffee.

This coffee has this name because the shape of the foam on its topping takes after the cappuccino monks bonnet.

It is prepared with milk coffee sugar and 1/3 of foam.

Irish Coffee.

It is based on a hot drink available at the Irish airports used to go heat. It is prepared with black coffee, whisky, sugar and whipped cream.

Viennese Coffee.

Its preparation consists of pouring coffee over a sour chocolate bar and whipped cream. It can be also added orange juice and honey.

Ristretto.

It is prepared like the express coffee bust with the half of water. So it is very strong.

Latte.

It is from Italy. It is made of express coffee, milk and sugar to taste. Hot milk must be mixed until it gets foam.

Kahlua

It is a coffee liquor made from Arabica grown in Veracruz, Mexico. It is used to prepare Black Russian, White Russian, and a cold drink with ice sugar and mil.

Pot Coffee

It is prepared in a clay pot with coffee, cinnamon and it is sweetened with brown sugar. It is served in clay jugs.
