On this online interior design school, we’re going to know a little bit more about landscaping design. It develops to create more sophisticated gardens. Water and new effects stimulate the senses to go ahead in design.
Last edition of the Chilean exposition Casa Mater presented a lot of options to transform a garden. A simple open space can be changed into a real artistic installation.
*A garden without grass was created by Macarena Calvo and Teresa Piemonte. The grass was replaced by pine needles. There is a water mirror with a dynamic aspect. There are small decks made on Canadian fir that cut the line of the small lake. Two big balls made on wire netting and grapevine sticks are an original touch. The balls are cages for some little Australian parrots.
*On the online interior design school there is a place for the zen style. Karen Oetjen from Ko landscaping, was the responsible of create an open refugee on zen style. She used big circle flowerpots full of ivies or just water. They make the space look fluid. She also ‘planted’ black PVC pipes on the garden on different highs. Artificial light is another unique element. It is on the flowerpots creating a perfect calm and personal atmosphere.
* Another proposal is created by Carolina Beckdorf and Soledad Astorquiza. They wanted to give people the sensation of walking through water. They made a horizon with willow sticks surrounding a small circular lake. The lake was created with metal microscope slides and surrounded by big river stones. On the water a wooden deck makes possible the walk on the water dream. The space looks wild and strange.
*Another idea is to create a winter garden. Orlando Gatica created a dark wood deck under a big pergola. This pergola looks like a spider web. Contrasting with the dark wood of the floor, there is a big comfortable white sofa made on leather. There is a small Japanese table with some candles on it. Hanging from the pergola, he put transparent spheres. Some of them have plants on the interior. This is a beautiful space to relax spending some time looking at the nature.
*Study Carreño Sartori Architects inspired on Chilean landscapes. They presented a floor made of broken stones. It gives you the sensation of looking at a desert. They planted some thin and tall trees to mark vertical lines. This space is grey and looks sad, like a ruin. It’s ideal to call yourself to meditation.
On this online interior design school, we brought the inside, outside. These five proposals show us that you have to open your mind and create different spaces wherever you want.
